Scientific Storytelling Workshop Nov20

Part 1: 15th of November, Part 2: 29th of November

By joining our Scientific Storytelling Workshop, you can learn how to tell a story about your topic and get ready to give your own nanoTalk or coach people giving one. The nanoTalks are a platform for inspiring and stimulating talks within the arts, sciences, and technologies. The nanoTalks strive to facilitate networking, provide a training platform for speakers to give talks to a broader audience, help speakers to create simple and widely understood talks on complex topics, and inspire the audience with new ideas.

This is your chance to train yourself on how to give such a talk and learn more about creative forms of storytelling:

  • You will get a training in how to structure a talk

  • You will get insights into different story formats and knowledge about when to apply them in your area of interest

  • You will do an exercise of applying a story format to your own topic and get feedback from the coaches & the group

This interactive workshop is led by Joel Lüthi (vice-president of Reatch), Luca Schaufelberger (Franxini Hive) and Noémie Frezel-Jacob (nanoTalks team). It is exclusive to members of Reatch, Life Science Zürich PhD students and fellows of the ScImpact program. Register by sending an E-mail to Joel Lüthi by Friday, October 28th.
