Do you work in a fascinating scientific field? Would you like to share your passion for your research topic? Then join our Scientific Storytelling Workshop, learn how to tell a story about your topic and get ready to give your own nanoTalk. The nanoTalks are a platform for inspiring and stimulating talks within the arts, sciences, and technologies. The nanoTalks strive to facilitate networking, provide a training platform for speakers to give talks to a broader audience, help speakers to create simple and widely understood talks on complex topics, and inspire the audience with new ideas.
This is your chance to train yourself on how to give such a talk and learn more about creative forms of storytelling:
- You will get a training in how to structure a talk
- You will get insights into different story formats and knowledge about when to apply them in your area of interest
- You will do an exercise of applying a story format to your own topic and get feedback from the coaches & the group
This interactive workshop is lead by Joel Lüthi (vice-president of reatch) and Luca Schaufelberger (nanoTalks team). It is exclusive to members of reatch and fellows of the ScImpact program. Register by sending an E-mail to Joel Lüthi by Friday, November 20th. Places are limited to 14 and offered to the members who register on a “first come, first serve” basis.
