Servan Grüninger, EPFL Alumnus and biologist-turned-biostatistician, works on improving reproducibility and good statistical practice in animal research and knows the legal, ethical and scientific quandaries that involving animals in research poses. He regularly writes about the issue of animal research in Swiss newspapers and works in the animal research commission of the canton of Zurich. Everybody interested in the issue of animal research is welcome to join this short talk followed by an interactive disussion.
