Florin earned his medical degree from the University of Bern in 2025 and is currently pursuing a doctoral thesis in translational cancer research. During his studies, he was actively involved in student representation and notably led the organization of a three-day Swiss conference on “precision medicine,” addressing both its medical potential and its socio-political implications. Driven by a growing interest in politics, he deepened his knowledge by taking additional courses and participating in programs offered by the Swiss Study Foundation. Today, Florin channels his passion into bridging research and policy as a board member of Reatch, where he advocates for a scientifically informed democracy.
