Laura always wanted to become a teacher, but on the way she realised that children were not yet politically open to discussion. That's why she ended up at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur, where she studied corporate communications and graduated with a thesis on political campaigning. After a detour to the federal government, she was campaign manager at the CVP (today: Die Mitte) Switzerland for 3.5 years at the general secretariat and managed over 11 national campaigns and helped shape many more. After that, several positions in communications led her to the Coalition for Corporate Responsibility, where she is now the policy officer. She is also politically active with the Mitte in the city of Bern. As a member of the extended board, she contributes her know-how on political communication to Reatch and supports the projects as well as the communication team in smaller and larger projects.
